# Development record

Only tiny branching and manually obstructed 3D fixtures and L4/K4/p0 dev-namespace hosts inform constructor development. No scored seeds or scored obstacle generation are used in fixtures. Abstract detour behavior is therefore not an unseen concept. D assigns a distinct scalar latch at each write attachment through its local boundary cue; it explores alternative bonds, retains terminal-bearing tree paths and prunes others. B independently uses Dijkstra and greedily assigns one distinct latch nearer the query along each write path, preserving shared routes. The task information in these choices is hand-authored.

Initial implementation uses one bounded handshake slot, six-bit transaction identifiers, positive integer link delays, and physical simple-path bounds for deadlines. Execution structure contains no growth state. Before freeze, tiny fixtures cover independent memory, overwrite/reset, selection, live-buffer cloning, compiled replay for both arms, opaque relabelling and record reversal, manually obstructed branching, and five evaluator defects. All failed attempts remain in attempts.json and their logs; any pre-freeze source fixes are described below.

Pre-freeze execution issue: the initial sandbox denied the process-statistics monitor after launch. The fixture worker nevertheless completed all checks; its successful log and evidence remain. The entire 120-second job reservation is conservatively charged for that unmeasured attempt. The runner now records monitor exceptions and kills/waits its child. Subsequent authorized runner calls use access sufficient for PID/parent/RSS enforcement only. This was a runner permission issue, not a scored scientific defect. No constructor or scoring fixes were required by the initial fixture results.

Pre-freeze accounting audit: moved the existing 16-record output cap into CAP/config; counted queue, interface and output reservations explicitly; conservatively increased metadata/counter bytes to 24. These are accounting declarations, with no algorithm, seed, task or transport changes. The same fixture set is rerun after this final source edit.
